When Kenny and Michelle Gemmill approached GNAR Inc. to bring their dream home to life, we knew it was going to be something special. Kenny envisioned a clean, Scandinavian-style exterior, while Michelle was drawn to the warmth of recycled wood and curated interior finishes. Blending their ideas through our collaborative process, we designed a space that’s as stunning as it is functional—perfectly suited for entertaining, relaxing, and embracing the beauty of Whistler.
A Home Built For Living
Inside, the open-plan kitchen, living, and dining areas flow seamlessly into a games room and sunny breakfast nook—each space designed with intention and style. Step outside and you’ll find an expansive deck, hot tub, and dunk pools, all perfectly positioned to take in the iconic views of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Whether it’s a quiet morning or a lively gathering, this home was made to host.
A Collaboration of Styles
This renovation and addition project is a true reflection of the couple behind it. Kenny’s Scandinavian-inspired board and batten siding pairs beautifully with Michelle’s love of reclaimed materials and refined interior touches. The result is a one-of-a-kind mountain home that celebrates both personality and place.
