Passive House Panel Build
This project began with a clear vision: create a home that is efficient, economical, and deeply connected to its environment. The client set out to build an approximately 1,500 sq. ft. residence on an undeveloped lot, with every design decision shaped by sustainability and long-term performance. From orientation to material selection, the home was planned to make the most of natural light and passive solar opportunities, supporting a healthier and more resilient way of living.
Built With Local Passive
House Innovation
To achieve exceptional energy performance, the home was constructed using BC Passive House panels manufactured just up the road in Pemberton. These high-performance components form the backbone of the building’s envelope, reducing energy loss while enhancing comfort year-round. By choosing a local manufacturer, the project not only lowered its environmental footprint but also supported innovative craftsmanship within the region.
A Thoughtful Process, A Beautiful Result
Throughout the design journey, every choice was guided by passive house principles—prioritizing efficiency, quality, and sustainability without compromising aesthetics. The collaborative process ensured the home remained true to the client’s original vision, resulting in a modern, well-crafted space that performs as beautifully as it looks. The finished home stands as a testament to purposeful design and the power of building better.
